This will depend upon the purity, weight quantity and current days fix prices. 18ct Gold is worth twice as much as 9ct Gold. Example, if 1 gram of 9ct gold is worth £15 on the daily fix then 1 gram of 18ct Gold would be worth £30. Our fully trained team will value your items and make an offer to you based on weight, Gold purity and daily fix price and then providing our offer is accepted, payment will then be issued to you.
It’s always helpful if the jewellery is hallmarked but no it doesn’t have to be hallmarked. Our expert team and use of X-Ray machines are able to detect genuine or non- genuine items. On some occasions further examination of your jewellery may be needed to ascertain its purity and therefore we advise you to read the Terms & Conditions before sending your scrap gold to us.
Before sending your jewellery to us try checking to see if there are any hallmarks indicating the purity of your precious metals.

Foreign Jewellery and some older jewelleries weren’t always hallmarked. Not to worry, our team are happy to examine your jewellery to assess the purity. There is no charge for testing your items but if they prove to be fake or not real there will be a £19.00 postage and admin fee.
If your items are genuinely gold or platinum, we hope our offer to you will be both pleasing and fair but if however, it does not meet your expectations we will return your items free of charge providing the items sent in were genuinely made with precious metals we have said we buy on this website. For more details see Terms & Conditions.
Generally, any gemstones will not have a value and can be costly and difficult to remove. If, however, there are any of sentimental value to you and you wish to keep them, we suggest removing them prior to sending them to us. Price offered is calculated on the gold weight and not the gemstone weight.
