It is extremely easy for you to sell your scrap gold to us. We have two options to choose from, for our trade customers, and retail. This article will talk through both options and how each of them can be convenient to you. The two options are as followed: For our trade-only customers, it is simple as filling out a form and sending us your gold. Alternatively, if you are one of our retail customers, you can get a ‘free sellers pack’ from us and send over your gold.

Trade only customers

Our trade only customers, who are all VAT registered can sell their scrap gold to us by first filling out the ‘trade only (VAT registered) form, which will be provided by us. Once the form is all completed with the correct information, along with proof of a registered trade name, you can post your gold to us directly. To ensure the full safety of your parcel, we recommend using ‘Royal Mail Special Delivery’, which can allow full insurance over your jewellery.

Retail customers –

Members from the general public can use our website to enter their details, which can then allow them to receive a ‘Free Sellers pack’. By doing this, we are able to see your name, address and contact details to help with the transaction process. After this, we will post a free sellers pack with a returnable envelope, with a completion form. This consists of a summary of the items which are being sent over to us. Postage

After sending your gold to us, we will make contact with you within 24 hours of receiving the package. When posting, we ask that you ensure all of the gold is packed safely and securely in the jiffy bag we have provided. If you are a retail customer, fill out the completion form, by making sure all the required fields are answered, with the wight and purity of gold clearly labelled.

In the Post Office

Once all of your gold is in the packets ready to send, along with the completed forms, you can send over your gold through Special delivery with Royal Mail.

When we receive your parcel

By using special delivery with the Mail service, we will send a video recording of us opening your parcel, for security. By doing this, there is no confusion as to what was sent and received. On the days where we have large volumes of packages, it may take us longer to sort through your parcels, however prices will stay fixed at the rate we sent over, with your payment being processed the day after receiving the parcel.
